What Does it Do?

iTweak lets you customize various aspects of your jailbroken iPod Touch or iPhone. Features include:

Strings
Picture resources (Springboard, wallpapers)

You could change the dock icon, the play button, the battery icons, and more; all in a few clicks! Not liking the default text? iTweek changes text too!

Changing a String (Text)

Start iTweek
Wait until iTweak’s title reads iPod\Phone found. This means it’s ready to go!
Now ensure the “Springboard” tab is selected and click “Load Strings”
The list is populated with all the names. Scroll though and find what you want. You will see the current text off the the right.
When you find what you want, type in your new text. In this case we will be changing the “slide to unlock” text to “Enter!”. Type in “Enter” in the text box.
Click write.
You are now done! Reboot your iPod to see the change

All done! Easy enough.

Changing an Image

Start iTweek
Wait until iTweek’s title reads iPod/Phone found. This means it’s ready to go!
Now ensure the “Icons” tab is selected.
Then select your source. If you wish to add or change wallpaper, choose Wallpapers, if you want to change SpringBoard icons choose SpringBoard.
Then click load icons.
The icons (pictures) will be loaded in a box the the left.
Select your icon to change, you will see a preview to the right.
Now, lets replace this icon with our own! Click the ‘R’ for replace.
A new window will open, with the dimensions filled (you may change these, though they are set to the original files. So for correct display it is suggested you leave them. Click browse to browse for the replacement.
Click OK
You are done! Reboot iPod to see changes
